Linda Patterson Cobb

Linda Patterson Cobb, age 75, passed away, Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home in Lambert, MS.

A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2023, at New Hope Church of God in Batesville, MS.

Linda was born November 19, 1947, in Houlka, MS to the late Dennis Deroy and Willie Mae Free Patterson. She was a retired LPN and member of New Hope Church of God. Linda always enjoyed sitting down with a good book to read and listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed literature, where she would even write her own poems. Mostly, Linda loved spending time with her family.

Linda’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Lisa Cobb Johnson of Lambert, MS; two sisters, Shirley Ruth Applewhite of Carrolton, MS, Lorena Jo Steed of Cleveland, TX; brother, Paul Wayne Patterson of Lambert, MS; two grandchildren, Shane Welch of Pope, MS, Brandon Keith Cobb of Oak Grove, LA and four great-grandchildren.
