Laurie Marie Wilke

Laurie Marie Wilke, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford MS. She is the wife of William G. "Bill" Wilke of Batesville. A living memorial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday May 15, 2017 at Blackjack Presbyterian Church in Batesville in Laurie's honor. Laurie was born June 8, 1960 to the late Wallace Hastings and Madelyn Hastings in Burlington, WI. Laurie was the former General Manager for Wendy's restaurant in Grenada, and a member of Blackjack Presbyterian Church. During her spare time she enjoyed taking cruises, traveling, sewing and church. Laurie had a love for animals, a green thumb and was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. Those she leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Bill Wilke of Batesville; her children, Cora Ann Wilke of Atlanta, GA., David James Wilke of Grenada; 2 sisters, Debra Hastings Ray of DeLand, FL., Karin Hasting Grey of CA; 2 grandchildren, Dakota and Kaydence Wilke.
