Kristina Lynn Wirt, age 26, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, in Pontotoc, MS.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Pisgah Cemetery near Courtland, MS. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.

Kristina was born January 8, 1996, in Oxford, MS to Angela Christina Shields Eatmon. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Clarksdale at an early age. Kristina had worked at Winchester in Oxford, MS and was presently working as a store clerk. She was a nature lover that always enjoyed being outdoors. Kristina also loved fishing and animals of all kinds.

Kristina’s memory will be cherished most by her son, Darren Wayne Wirt of Tupelo, MS; mother, Angela Christina Eatmon (Ian) of Oxford, MS; brother, Thomas Boyette of Oxford, MS; maternal grandmother, Sybil Ann Shields of Courtland, MS; aunts and uncles, Clinton and Dana Shields, Tracy and Beverly Williams.

Kristina was preceded in death by her grandparents, T.L. “Pee Wee” Shields, Roy and Elizabeth Goodwin and James Ronald “Ronnie” Wirt.
