Karen Legge

Karen Frances Legge, age 54, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home in Batesville, MS. 

Funeral services will 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Hebron Baptist Church near Sardis, MS with the interment to follow at the church cemetery. The family will gather and receive friends beginning at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.

Karen was born in Batesville on February 9, 1968 to Albert Ray Legge and Reba Jean Blakely Legge. Karen was the light of her family’s life. She loved going to church and seeing people. To know her was to love her. Her face would light up when she saw the people she loved so. Her smile would light up the whole room with her sweet spirit. Karen was a member of Pharsalia Baptist Church.

Karen leaves an empty spot in the lives of the family she leaves behind. Her parents, Ray and Jean Legge of Batesville; one brother, Byron Craig Legge (Joanne) of Sardis; nephews, Matthew Legge (Erin) of Sardis, Ryan Legge of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
