John David Tutor

John David Tutor, age 70, passed away Thursday morning, January 11, 2024, at Sardis Nursing Home in Sardis, MS.

The family will have a memorial gathering Saturday afternoon, January 13, 2024, at Wells Funeral Home from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

David was born February 5, 1953, in Marks, MS to the late William Jewel and Nellie Mavis Tims Tutor. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. David was an extremely hard worker and worked for the former Custom Signs Company in Batesville, MS for nearly 20 years.

David's memory will be remembered most by his family, which includes, his son, Dale Tutor of Pope, MS; three sisters, Rita Tutor Cook of Courtland, MS, Diana Tutor Cook of Courtland, MS, Ginger Tutor Ridgeway of Courtland, MS; five brothers, Danny Ray tutor of Batesville, MS, Ronnie Ray Tutor of Batesville, MS, Tony Lynn Tutor of Courtland, MS, Douglas Wayne Tutor, Sr. of Pope, MS, Bobby Dale Tutor of Hernando, MS.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonnie Kay Tutor Daugherty, Sherrie Ann Tutor Darby, Myra Tutor Wright and a brother, Billy Leon Tutor.
