Joe William Pearson

Joe William Pearson, age 94, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.

Joe was born on November 12, 1930 to the late John R. Pearson and Mamie Adams Pearson in Lambert, MS. He was the proud former owner of Coast Lock and Safe in Alabama. Joe also honorably served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  

The family Joe leaves behind includes his niece, Wanda Beard of Gulf Shores, AL; and his sister, Betty Hillis of Campaign, TN.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Rottenberry Pearson; his second wife, Margie Eads Pearson; two sisters, Juanita Stembridge and Mamie Bray; and his brothers, Albert Pearson, John Pearson, Raymond Pearson, Frank Pearson, Mark "Buddy" Pearson, Ed Pearson, Kenneth Pearson, and Robert Pearson.
