Jody Wade Bland

Jody Wade Bland, age 35, passed at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS Monday, March 4, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.

Jody was born on April 7, 1983 to Martha Faye Bright Bland and the late Scotty Wade Bland in Panola County, MS. Jody was construction worker during his lifetime. He was a fun-loving, jokester who always made people laugh and smile. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews. Jody was of Baptist faith.

Those left behind to cherish his loving memory include his mother, Faye Bland of Courtland, MS; his step father, Louis Bland; two sisters, Debra Sanders (Jim) and Michelle Bland; five brothers, Gray Bland, Steven Bland (Alison), Justin Bland (Amanda), Michael Bland, and Terry Bland; his grandmother, Mattie Bland; and 18 nieces and nephews.
