Joan Dancy Gee

Joan Dancy Gee, age 87, passed away Tuesday night, December 3, 2019, at her home in Marks, MS.

A graveside service for Joan will be 12 Noon on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, MS.

Joan was born on June 20, 1932 to the late Enos Arnold Dancy and Velma Romedy Dancy in Marianna, AR. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Crowder United Methodist Church. In her spare time Joan enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and cooking.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her three sons, Enos Arnold Gee of Marks, MS, Billy Joe Gee of Marks, MS, and Brian Allen Gee of Como, MS; one sister, Gladys Ross of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Mavis Bean, Summer McBride, and Erica Gee; and four great grandchildren, Emma Harold, Grady Ray McBride, Samuel Bean, and Andi Kate McBride.

Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by five children, William Allen Gee, Jr., Vicky Lynn Gee, Ginger Dale Gee, Velma Livia Gee, and Dale Lynn Gee, and one sister, Johnnie Wofford.
