Jim Stubbs

Jim Stubbs, age 65, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home in Harmontown, MS. 

James Verland Stubbs, known as "Jim", was born on October 31, 1957 to Peggy Sue Thrasher Haley and the late Robert Huey Stubbs, Jr. in Hayti, Missouri. Jim worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching sports on TV. Jim was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. 

The family left behind who will miss him most include his daughter, Alison Stubbs of Memphis, TN; one sister, Bonnie Stubbs of Oxford, MS; two grandchildren, Yazmin Broadnax and Albert Broadnax, III; his mother, Peggy "Memaw" Haley of Harmontown, MS; and several nieces and nephews. 

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Stubbs, III. 

Jim's family will celebrate his life at a later date.
