Jeffrey Lee Dillon, born on November 14, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Sardis, Mississippi. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his dedication, warmth, and vibrant spirit.
A celebration of life will be had on April 19th, 2025, at the Severino home in Germantown, TN. More details will be made available closer to the date.
A retired welder by trade, Jeffrey devoted many years to mastering his craft. His professionalism and work ethic were a testament to his character, earning him respect among his colleagues and peers throughout his career.
Jeffrey was not only a skilled worker but also a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing, relished the opportunity to dive into a good book, and had a great love for riding his motorcycle. In his leisure time, he could often be found enjoying his favorite shows on television. Perhaps most precious to him were the moments spent with his grandchildren, where his love and affection shone brightest. Dining out with loved ones brought him great happiness, strengthening the bonds that he cherished so dearly. He loved a good joke or prank. He was always the life of the party.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Dillon (Jan) of Piperton, TN, sister, Kristy Elgart (Daniel) of Memphis, TN, his beloved daughters, Ashley Dillon of Memphis, TN, Tatum Severino (John) of Germantown, TN, and Rebecca "Nikki" Gordon (Kyle) of Senatobia, MS, as well as seven adoring grandchildren: Scott Dillon, Haley Dillon, Joshua Severino, Ryan Gordon, Dillon Severino, Charlotte Severino, and Samuel Severino, along with several adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins. His legacy continues with two great-grandchildren, Taylor Russell and Mason Dillon, who brought him immense joy.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, William Thaddeus Dillon (Frankye) and Betty Jane Ellzey (Howard), who provided him with a loving foundation throughout his life. He is also proceeded in death by a brother, Micheal Dillon, and a sister, Mitzi Tiller. He leaves behind a family that loved him deeply and will honor his memory for years to come.
As we reflect on the life of Jeffrey Lee Dillon, we celebrate a man whose impact was felt through quiet strength and devotion to his family. Above all, he will be remembered for his dedication and unwavering love for his children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
