J.C. Harrison

J.C. Harrison, age 76, passed away Saturday morning, August 11, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at The Batesville Church of Christ with interment to follow at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, MS. 

Visitation will take place Monday evening, August 13, 2018, from 6-8pm at the Batesville Church of Christ, and also one prior to the service on Tuesday.

Wells Funeral Home of Batesville, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

J.C. was born January 5, 1942 in Crowder, MS to the late Collie Clay and Mary Lou Bailey Harrison. He was a member of the Collierville Church of Christ and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. J.C. retired after twenty five years of service as parts manager for Sunrise Buick-GMC car dealership in Memphis, TN. In his spare time, J.C. enjoyed fishing, hunting and working. He loved spending time with his family, and his time at Dale Hollow Lake in Celina, TN. Most importantly, J.C. loved his Lord and church family.

J.C.'s memory will be most cherished by his family, which includes two daughters, Lisa Harrison Harper (Jeff) of Portland, TN, and Beckie Harrison McGill of Collierville, TN; son, James Collie Harrison of Collierville, TN; three grandchildren, Brinkley McGill, Daniel Harper (Amber), Bobbi Jo Barron; four great-grandchildren, Brody Jones, Gavin Barron, BrayLynn Barron, and Kingston Harper.
