Jane Breland

Norma Jane Greer Breland, age 75, passed away, July 1, 2019, at Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS.

Jane was born on August 3, 1943 to the late Mavis Irene Burton Greer and Ferrell William Greer in Shaw, MS. During her lifetime she worked many jobs, but her most recent position was a meter reader for Entergy. In her spare time, she would be found painting, drawing, and making crafts. Jane was a "Mimi" to a lot people who adored her. She was of the Baptist faith.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, George David Breland, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Oakland, and Angela Breland of Pope, MS; one sister, Mary Grissom of Indianola, MS; and two grandsons, John Michael Breland and Andrew Breland.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Avanell Williams and Dot Mullins.

The family will be holding a celebration of life for Jane at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Pavilion located at George Payne Cosser State Park on Enid Lake. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville has charge.
