On Saturday, January 26, 2019, James “Jimmy” Everette Justice, Jr., devoted husband and loving father of three, passed away at the age of 75 after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2019, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park.
Jimmy was born on March 11, 1943, in Calhoun City, Mississippi to James Everette Justice, Sr. and LaRue Tolley Justice. On September 20, 1967, he married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Cirilli. They raised three devoted daughters, Ann Marie, Angie, and Amy.
Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and riding on his Polaris with his best buddy, Maddie. He was most relaxed sitting around his fire pit with family and friends. His fire was a natural ending to the day. Jimmy was hardworking to provide the best life for his family. He was the source of strength in his family. Jimmy demonstrated a passionate father’s love to his family while sharing a beautiful bond with each grandchild.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Everette Justice, Sr. and his mother, LaRue Tolley Justice. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Shirley of 51 years, his three daughters, Ann Marie Duraj of Clarksdale, MS, Angie Gerrets of Madison, MS, Amy Hill of Madison, MS, and son-in-law, John Hill, whom he loved like a son. He is also survived by eight loving grandchildren, Laura Beth Duraj Scheider (Jesse), Josh Duraj, Justice Duraj, Jason Duraj, Sarah Gerrets, Avery Gerrets, Ansley Hill, Ethan Hill, and one great-grandson, Jamey Scheider. He also leaves loving cousins, a beloved uncle, Wesley Tolley, and a life-long buddy, Jimmy Lunceford.
