Jacqueline H. "Jackie" Reid, age 83, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home in Batesville, MS. She was the wife of Mr. Burl Reid. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. The family will be receiving friend at 12:00 P.M. Sunday prior to the service.

Jackie was born September 19, 1938 in Clarksdale, MS to the late Percy and Arline Herod Hambrick.  She was a retired Registered Nurse and spent many hours reading. Jackie was a Presbyterian by faith.

Jackie caring and loving memory will be held close by her family which includes her husband, Burl Reid of Batesville, MS; daughters, Theresa Reid Trim (Kevin) of Batesville, MS; two sons, Scott Sheppard (Kim) of Batesville, MS, Troy (Julie) Reid of Oxford, MS; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Reid and her siblings.
