Jackie McMurry

Jackie Hodge McMurry, age 79, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Panola County Medical Center in Batesville.

 

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5-8pm at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville.

 

Jackie was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Oxford, MS.  She enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with her family.  In her later years she enjoyed coloring and loved doing activities while a resident at Diversacare in Batesville.

 

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Wright and Lottie Henry Wright of Batesville.  She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Larry Liens of Batesville, MS, two children, Phyllis Hodge and Jason Hodge, both of Oxford, MS, four grandchildren, Ken Allen (Beth), Hunter Allen (Taylor), Bobby Allen, all of Oxford, MS and Jason “Jay” Hodge of Dallas, TX, and three great-grandchildren Peyton Allen, Waylon Allen and Georgia Allen all of Oxford, MS.
