Jack Stanley Bolen

Jack Stanley Bolen, age 66, of Batesville, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford today, March 27, 2019. 

Services for Jack will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sardis.

Jack was born April 13, 1952 in Quitman County, MS to Willie Wayne Davis Bolen and the late Jack Bolen. Jack enjoyed coon hunting, training coon dogs, fishing and watching western movies. 

The family he leaves behind include his children, Jack S. "Bud" Bolen, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL. Holly Ann Bolen Smith and Haydon Riddell Bolen, both of Batesville; sisters, Patsy Hannah (Harold) of Oxford, Pam Ledbetter of Clarksdale, Jeneice Reid (Lindsay) of Oxford, Debra Lane (Kevin) of Mt. Home, AR.; one brother, Dwight Bolen (Alice) of Clarksdale; his mother, Willie Wayne Bolen of Sardis; 5 grandchildren, and two special friends, Cliff and Kimberly Hartzell.
