Jack Eugene Bailey, age 62, passed away this morning, December 8, 2020 at his home in Courtland after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Funeral services for Jack will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Interment will be held at Forrest Memorial Park. The family ask for those attending the service to please wear your mask.

Jack was born September 11, 1958 to Robert Eugen Bailey and the late Janice Elaine Gregson Bailey in Bedford IN. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an engineer for Standard Industrial in Clarksdale. Jack was a family man; an amazing son, husband, father, and grandfather. He always enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife Sherry and friends. Jack enjoyed woodworking and was quiet the handy man. He loved spending time working around and making improvements on the house.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Janice, his wife, Sherry Bailey, and one daughter, Carrie Lindsey

Survivors include his children, Cody Lindsey (Brittany) of Southaven, Thomas Lindsey, Jr. (Dawn) of Ignomer, Alexis Lindsey Anderson (Hunter) of Water Valley, Christopher Christian of Oxford; sisters, Tressie Aldarondo (Luis) of Bear, DE. and Donna Covington, Jacksonville, FL.; his father, Gene Bailey of Bedford, IN.; grandchildren, Kennedy, Nevaeh, Jace, and Christopher Lindsey.

He will be greatly missed, but has gone home to be with his Wife and loved ones.
