Henry Allen "Hank" Robison, Jr.

August 25, 1943 — May 5, 2024

Henry Allen "Hank" Robison, Jr., age 80, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the North MS Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was the husband of Jean Robison of Batesville. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Batesville with visitation beginning 1:30. Interment will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery in Courtland. Dr. Tommy Snyder will officiate.

Hank was born August 25, 1943 to the late Henry Allen Robison, Sr. and Janice Kirven Wyckoff in Birmingham, AL. Hank was a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelors in Agronomy. After graduation, Hank worked with the State of MS in developing a program for right-of-way plants and erosion control. In the 70’s, Hank went to work for Fision Corp. and launched Ficam to the pest control market. He was an icon in the pest control industry. He worked and retired from FMC. After retirement, Hank worked for Oldham Chemicals as an independent contractor from 2011 to present, where he received many awards from his employers and State associates in the field.  In his spare time, Hank enjoyed traveling abroad, which he did extensively. He also was dedicated to his exercise routine, often participating in walk marathons. He loved western movies and all sports. His favorites were his Mississippi State Bulldogs and the New Orleans Saints. Of recent, his most favorite thing to do was play with his two great-grandchildren. Hank was a member of Batesville First Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and was very active in the church. He was an usher on Sunday mornings and even helped lead Sunday school at the Azalea Commons.

In addition to his parents, Hank was preceded in death by two brothers, Robin and Michael; and one aunt, Dee Prince.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Covington Robison; of Batesville; daughter, Jodi Russell (Bryan) of Batesville, MS; sister, Linda Robison of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Richard Robison also of Baton Rouge, LA; cousins, Johnny Prince (Ann) of Columbus, MS, Marion Prince Ogletree of Macon,MS; four grandchildren, Tori Hardy (Tays), Noah Willis, Bailey Russell, Eli Russell; two great-grandchildren, Lily Brooks Hardy and Camille James Hardy.
