Grover Bradley, Jr., age 86, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the EagleCrest Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Ash Flat, Arkansas.
Funeral services for Grover will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the New Hope Church of God in Batesville, MS with the interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
Grover was born on July 19, 1937 to the late Grover C. Bradley, Sr. and Nannie Mae Lewallen Bradley in Panola County, MS. He was a hard-working small engine mechanic throughout his lifetime. Grover sang southern gospel music with his family as the bass singer. He had a deep love for the Lord and his family, which showed through singing the gospel and providing for his family with love and life advice. Grover also enjoyed camping at Enid Lake and going fishing.
In addition to his parents, Grover was preceded in death by his son, James Floyd Bradley, two brothers, Howard Bradley and James Edward Bradley, and two sisters, Ruby Lee Herron and Myrtle Ruth Crouch.
The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Lorine Bradley; two sons, Ronnie Wayne Bradley (Sandy), and Grover Charles Bradley, III; one daughter, Angela Michele Herring (Ken); two step-daughters, Janice Kirby (Larry), and Rebecca Bearden; one step son, Ernest Bearden, II (Lisa); 2 sisters, Willie Mae Moore and Gladys Louise Wells. 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren, and 1 step-great great grandchild.
