Glenn Wilson, age 80, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his home in Sardis, MS.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Peach Creek Baptist Church with the family receiving friends two hours prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.

Glenn was born on March 3, 1945 in Oxford, Mississippi to the late Herman Archie Wilson and Jessie Kate Waller Wilson. He spent his career as a supervisor at Chromcraft, where he was respected by his colleagues for his leadership and dedication. Glenn was a faithful member of Peach Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his professional life, he honorably served in the Army National Guard.

A great family man, Glenn was a devoted husband and a loving grandfather to all of his grandchildren. His warmth and affection were felt by many, and his family was at the center of his life. He cherished the moments spent with them, embodying what it meant to be a caring and supportive figure in their lives.

Outside of his career, Glenn found joy in farming. He loved baling hay and tending to his cows, taking immense pride in his land. His passion for the outdoors was evident in the way he embraced the beauty of nature, finding peace and fulfillment in the work he loved.

Glenn is survived by his brother, George Wilson of Sardis, MS; his three grandchildren, Tema Ruth Wilson of Sardis, MS, Jessica Lynn Roberson of Batesville, MS, and Archie Earl Wilson of Sardis, MS; and eight great grandchildren, Dalten Tutor, Carsen Tutor, Addisen Tutor, Braxten Tutor, Ayden Roberson, Ava Roberson, Jaysen Wilson, and Sophie Wilson.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jewel Kennedy Wilson; his two children, Archie Glenn Wilson and Tema Wilson; and one brother, James Wilson.
