Gladys Robin “Robbie” Self, age 62, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at her son’s home in Greenwood Springs, MS.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 2, 2020, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Robbie was born on February 10, 1958 to the late Robert Creed Beaver and Mabel Erkson Beaver in Imboden, Arkansas. She worked for Washington Furniture and at Brown’s Feed and Seed in Batesville where she enjoyed being out in the green house. Robbie had a green thumb, and loved all flowers. In her down time, she enjoyed reading. Robbie also had a special love for children and would babysit for anyone. She was a member of the Locke Station Baptist Church.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory includes her children, Heather Williams of Pontotoc, MS, and Jason Tramel of Greenwood Springs, MS; three step children, Latisha Self Rich, Gaston Allen Self, and David Andrew Self all from Batesville, MS; and 5 grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Self; her daughter, Jamie Tramel; one sister, Joanna Stein; and 5 brothers, Clifford Beaver, Wayne Beaver, Jim Beaver, Tony Beaver, Sr., and Jerry Beaver.
