Ginger Rogers Smith

Ginger Faye Rogers Smith, age 81, passed away Saturday morning, March 24, 2018, at Quitman County Health and Rehab in Marks, MS. Ms. Smith is the widow of the late A.C. Smith.

The family will have a time of gathering Monday afternoon, March 26, 2018, from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home and a private family burial will be Tuesday morning in Sardis Lake Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Ginger was born June 23, 1936 in Quitman County, MS to the late James and Nona Caples Rogers. She was a retired nurses assistant and member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Ginger loves growing flowers in her flower garden.

Ginger is survived by daughter, Michelle Hawkins Bigger of Millington, TN; son, Kenneth Hawkins of Waco, TX; step-daughter, Cheryl Smith Steele of Estill Springs, TN; three step-sons, A.C Smith, Jr. of Marks, MS, Glenn Smith of Aurora, IL, Marty Smith of Oswego, IL; brother, Burt Rogers of Mount Erie, IL; two grandchildren, Lee Biggers and Michael Biggers.
