Frankie Williams Allen, age 86, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Crystal Health and Rehabilitation in Greenwood, MS. She was the widow of Mr. Billy Q. Allen.  

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Frankie was born August 17, 1937 in Clarksdale, MS to the late James Claude Williams and Nannie Gertrude Coker.

She was raised in Locke Station, MS. Frankie worked in various factories until her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger and you could always hear her laughing. Frankie will be forever missed.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelia Allison (Hiram) of Inverness, MS and their children, Wendy, Misti and DJ of Batesville, MS; daughter, Billie Ann Campbell (Paul), and children, Ben Barnett and Racheal of Clinton, MS; sons, James Jeffery French (Lisa) and their children, Christopher, Matthew, Jacob, Jordan and James French, Jr. of Albany, LA; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
