A memorial service to celebrate the life of Frances Audrey Wagner will be held on February 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Terza Methodist Church located at 2001 Terza Road, Batesville, MS 38606.

Frances dedicated her professional life to enhancing document security at the NASA Space Center, contributing significantly to a field that plays a vital role in our nation's advancements and achievements. Her career was marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Frances was a person of diverse interests and talents. She found joy in flower gardening, where she nurtured vibrant blooms that reflected her personality's warmth and beauty. An avid reader and master of the Scrabble board game, she had a lifelong love for all kinds of board games and card games, always ready to engage in friendly competition. Frances also cherished listening to country music and participated in line dancing, which brought her immense joy and connection with others.

Her creative spirit flourished through painting and writing her own poetry, allowing her to express herself and share her unique perspective with those around her. Additionally, she loved making floral designs and baking cakes, pleasures that she generously shared with family and friends, creating sweet memories that will forever remain in their hearts.

Frances is survived by her devoted husband, Morris Wagner of Batesville, MS; her loving daughter, Cindy Sheckells of Linthicum, MD; her son, Zachary Michael Duty of Maryland; her sister, Martha Louise "Susie" Mullins of Sardis, MS; her brother, Charles Hope "Dickey" Brown of Southaven, MS; and her cherished grandchildren, Andrew Steven, Shelby Hope Smith, and Evan Donald Line, as well as four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey H. and Frances Louise Hope Brown; her sister, Ethel Marie Grimes; and her brother, James Clifford Brown.

Frances’s legacy of love, creativity, and passion for life will forever be remembered, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
