Faron Earl Scruggs

Faron Earl Scruggs, age 70, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home in Hernando, MS.

The family will hold a memorial service for Faron at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. 

Faron was born July 28, 1953 in Augusta, GA to the late Charles Donald and Earlene Tucker Scruggs. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Faron was a retired mechanic that took pride in fixing things and loved riding the tractor on his farm. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music and Sunday dinners with family. He adored all of the cats he and his wife adopted over the years.

Faron’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Anne “Liz” Scruggs of Hernando, MS; sister, Brenda Gail Scruggs Crowell of Batesville, MS; brother, Alan Wayne Scruggs of Sardis, MS and nieces Melody Pearson, Michelle Kuykendoll and Mary Margaret Pearson.
Along with his parents, Faron was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dale Crowell.
