Eva "Katie" Woolfolk, age 70, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at her home in Sardis, MS.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, MS. The family will begin to receive friends at 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

Katie was born on November 26, 1952 to the late Rufus Rogers and Margaret Hazel Rogers in Chattanooga, TN. She worked as an administrator for Mid-South Home Health. She also attended SouthPoint Church in Southaven. Katie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her favorite pastimes were swimming and going fishing. She was strong in her faith and enjoyed reading God’s word. Katie’s free and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

The family she leaves behind includes her loving husband, Rick Woolfolk of Sardis, MS; two children, Kathleen “Kathy” Carlisle (Scott) of Hernando, MS, and Rick Eason Woolfolk (Katie) of Cleveland, OH; one sister Sue Lowery of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and 10 grandchildren, Bennett Bramlett, Faith Joplin, Evie Woolfolk, Kennedy Joplin, Nevaeh Joplin, Liam Woolfolk, Samuel Woolfolk, Colston Carlisle, Lilly Carlisle, and Rickie Sue Carlisle. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by 9 siblings, Kenneth David Rogers, Mary Elizabeth Mills, Bob Games, Bill Games, Norma Taylor, Patricia Rogers Elliott, Patrick Rogers, Carolyn Rogers, and John Avery Rogers.
