Ethel F. "Buddy" Bright, age 72, passed away Friday evening on April 27, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
Buddy was born August 19, 1941 to the late Helen Claire Franklin and Jessie Ethel Bright in Choctaw County, MS. He was a Thermos maintenance and electrician for 15 years and he previously served in the MS National Guard. During his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yard sales. Buddy was also a member of the Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, MS.
Those left behind to cherish his loving memory include his children, Shelia Russell and Shira B. Moudy both of Water Valley, MS., Ethel F. Bright, Jr. of Batesville, MS., and Flex Bright of Eupora, MS.; two sisters, Helen Jean Shaw and Troy Bright both of Eupora, MS.; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, MS. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Damon Plummer and Rev. Rayford Ables will be officiating.
