Livestream of Funeral Service

Emma Jane Hadorn, 93, of Batesville, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday February 18, 2024 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 21, 2024 at 2pm in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.

Emma was born December 30, 1930 to the late Edward Fred Hadorn and Abbie Leona Long Haddorn in Memphis, TN. A member of the Batesville Church of Christ, Emma retired from Piggly Wiggly after 45 years. Emma enjoyed sewing and was an excellent cook. Though she never married or had children of her own, Emma helped her mother in raising her younger siblings. She will be missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Emma, was preceded in death by six brothers, James, Fred, Frank, William, David, and Jesse Hadorn. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sisters, Gloria Davis and Grace Whitley and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
