Dorothy Melton Ott

Dorothy Melton Ott, age 53, passed away Sunday morning, October 6, 2019 in an auto accident near Harmontown, MS.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.

Dorothy was born on July 4, 1966 to Patricia Ann Burks and the late Roy D. Melton in Louisville, AR. Dorothy worked as a quality technician at Winchester in Oxford, MS. When she was not working she enjoyed dancing, crafts, and spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed taking her grandson to Six Flags in St. Louis every chance she had.

The family she leaves behind to treasure her loving memory include her daughters, Harmony Lee of Batesville, MS, and Lauren Gaille of Grenada, MS; her two brothers, Gerald Melton of Batesville, MS, and Chris Melton of Water Valley, MS; her mother, Patricia Ann Pittman of Water Valley, MS; and one adoring grandson, Daltin Lee.
