Dorothy M. Jaudon

Dorothy M. Jaudon, age 69, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 22, 2019 at her home in Sardis, MS.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 26, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service on Thursday. Rev. Doug Tutor will officiate.

Dorothy was born August 11, 1950 to the late Davis Black and Lillie Mae Dover Black in Tunica County, MS. She retired as the branch manager of FAA Federal Credit Union. Dorothy loved to work in her yard and flower garden. She loved to travel and see the world. Dorothy was very proud of the fact that she learned to fly an airplane later in life.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Jaudon of Sardis; sisters, Doris McMinn (David) of Batesville, Geri Magee Brown (Rick) of Pope, Wanda Melton (Darrell) also of Pope; brother, David Lee Black of Sardis; 6 nieces; 1 nephew; 8 great nieces; 6 great nephews; 1 great-great niece; 1 grand-daughter, Lauren Brooke Jaudon; and 1 great-grandson, Corben Jaudon.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Deloris Black Gordon.
