Dorothy Mills Booth, 83, passed away Wednesday morning, April 22, 2020 at her home in Batesville, MS. She was the widow of Mr. Bobby L. Booth.

A private family funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, April 25, 2020, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Due to the gathering restrictions, a live video stream will be provided for those wishing watch the service in the chapel, and the committal service will be streamed via Facebook Live on the Wells Funeral Home Facebook page. 

Dorothy was born May 28, 1936 in Lafayette County, MS to the late Lawrence L. and Velma McMinn Mills. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Courtland, MS. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and helping tend to the children at her daughters daycare center. Most of all, she loved caring for all her grandchildren.

Dorothy's sweet memory will be cherished by her three daughters, Shelia Booth Crutcher (Tommy) of Batesville, MS, Lisa Booth Stroud (Gilbert) of Courtland, MS, Michelle Booth Jones (Kelly) of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Bobby L. Booth, Jr. (Jennifer) of Pope, MS, Donald Mills (Sharon) of Moss Point, MS; three sisters, Darnell Mills Whitten of Charleston, MS, Betty Mills Pittman of Batesville, MS, Linda Mills Hargett of Mt. Home, AR; brother, Billy Mills of Pope, MS; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Booth.
