Due to the recent spike in the COVID-19 pandemic, the family ask that mask be required for visitation tonight, Wednesday, November 11.
Dinah Mitchell Dugger, age 74, passed away Sunday morning, November 8, 2020, at the Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, MS.
A private family graveside service will be held Thursday morning at Magnolia Cemetery for Dinah. The family would like to invite all friends to gather for visitation on Wednesday evening, November the 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells Funeral Home.
Dinah was born May 18, 1945 to the late Juwitt Mitchell and Mary Opal White Mitchell in Crowder, MS. She graduated from Batesville High School in 1963. Dinah worked for Sullivan's Drug Store as a clerk before retiring to become a homemaker. Dinah adored her family, even the furry ones. She was most proud of her only grandson Zack, who she watched play sports from the time he was a young child through his high school years.
The loving family she leaves behind include her husband, William W. "Bill" Dugger, Jr. of Batesville; son, William C. "Chris" Dugger (Tammie) of Batesville; grandson, Zack Dugger of Batesville; sister, Bess McDowell Fair of Batesville; brothers, J.W. Mitchell of Coldwater, Bruce Mitchell of Marks, and Jimmy McDowell of Sardis.
