Dennis Burrowes

Dennis Burrowes, age 64, of Courtland, MS passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.The family will have a memorial service 3:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Love Joy Church near Courtland, MS. They will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.Dennis was born June 23, 1053 in Oxford, MS to the late Gene and Bessie Conner Burrowes. After the passing of his parents, Dennis was raised and cared for by Ralph and Billie Mahan of Water Valley, MS. He was a brick mason by trade that loved fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers in his spare time.  Dennis' greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.Dennis is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Martha Naramore Burrowes of Courtland, MS; two daughters, Tina Stevens (Michael) of Water Valley, MS, Misty Burrowes of Pope, MS; son, Michael Burrowes of Grenanda, MS; two brothers, David Burrowes (Rhonda) of Water Valley, MS, Kenny Burrowes (Doris) of Water Valley, MS.
