Denise Mills Tidwell, 63, of Batesville, MS, passed away Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford.

A memorial service will be held on Monday January 29, 2024 at 4pm in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 2pm until the service begins.

Denise was born September 21, 1960 to Richard and Marty Mills. She was a loving mother and wife and was devoted to taking care of her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved her church, Sardis Lake Baptist, where she was a member. In her spare time, Denise enjoyed crafting and could be found making many different items from cards to bracelets. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Denise was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Tidwell, her mother, Marty Mills and her sister, Janice Still.

The family she leaves to cherish her memory include her children, Whit Tidwell (Carolyn O’Conner), Chad Tidwell (Mandy Donahue), and Chesley Tidwell, all of Batesville, MS, her father, Richard Mills, her sister, Colleen Isbell (Terry), her brother, Carl Mills (Gina), her brother-in-law, Dennis Still, and seven grandchildren, Swayzee Tidwell, Fields Tidwell, Ellie Jo Tidwell, Bryton Tidwell, Kaylee Tidwell, Marlee Donahue, and Max Donahue.
