Delmer Ray Anderson

D. Ray Anderson, age 89, passed away late Tuesday evening, January 28, 2020, at Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS.

Ray was born October 10, 1930 to the late Leslie and Mary Anderson in, TN. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Ray was also retired from Imec in Memphis, TN where he worked as a sales representative. Ray was a lifelong motorcycle aficionado. He also enjoyed hunting and wood working. Later in his life, he developed an affinity for cats and loved to adopt and care for them.

Ray is survived by his wife, Jane C. Anderson of Sardis, MS; two daughters and four step-sons; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, and two step-sons.

Ray's family will be holding a memorial service to remember and celebrate his life at Wells Funeral Home at a date which has not been determined.
