Deborah Lynn Estep, age 71, passed away at her home in Batesville, MS on October 20, 2022.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. The committal service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Fifty Six Cemetery in Fifty Six, AR.
Deborah was born September 9, 1951 in Memphis, TN to the late Earnest Frank Fowler and Lena Mae Morris Fowler. Deborah was a registered nurse who cared for people her entire life. Deborah enjoyed being in the Girl Scouts when she was young. She was involved with her children’s school where she was a member of the PTA and was a group leader in Pathfinders. Deborah also worked as the church secretary for First Seventh-day Adventist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and reading. Deborah was a member of Adonia Church.
Her loving family she leaves behind includes her husband, Willie Estep of Batesville; daughter, Rachel Mitchell (Harold) of Mt. View, AR.; three sons, Ben Estep of Taylorsville, MS, Joseph Estep (Sonia) of Cass City, MI, William Estep (Audra) of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Brian Lewis of Grenada, MS; 12 grandchildren, Sarah Littlejohn, Matthew Presly, Jacob Logan, Benjamin Estep, Jr., Preston Gehringer, Tyler Gehringer, Hunter Estep, Kyle Estep, Kaleb Estep, Joseph Estep, Jr., Jaylen Estep, Jackson Estep and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her step-father, Gerald Fredrick Lewis.
