Debbie Goforth

Deborah K. “Debbie” Goforth, age 59, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Grenada Health and Rehab in Grenada, MS.

The family will be having a memorial service for Debbie on Tuesday afternoon, October 23, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in the Martin Wilingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. Tuesday until the memorial service.

Debbie was born April 22, 1959 in Quitman County, MS to the late Homer and Eunice Katherine Snider Keen. She was a seamstress for thirteen years at Panola Mills in Batesville, MS, and then went on to be a homemaker, caring for her family. Debbie enjoyed working in her yard and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Debbie leaves behind her large loving family, which includes, her daughter, Krystal Paige Goforth Tidwell of Batesville, MS; five sisters, Jo Ann Keen Maxey of Batesville, MS, Betty Keen Hyland of Batesville, MS, Sandra Keen Harmon of Batesville, MS, Patsy Keen Mason of Batesville, MS, Judy Keen Johnson of Grenada, MS; two brothers, Jimmy Keen of Batesville, MS, Lacy Keen of Pope, MS; four grandchildren, Alexus Goforth, Jordan Goforth, Brylee Barragan, Swayzee Tidwell; one great-grandchild, Ava Goforth.

Other than her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Goforth; two sisters, Janie Keen Robertson, Martha Keen McKnight; three brothers, Larry Keen, Winfred Keen, and Ricky Keen.
