Darrell Cannon

Darrell Brooks Cannon of Bartlett, Tennessee at the age of 84 years old passed away on January 24, 2022. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.

Darrell was born on August 31, 1937 in Lula, MS to the late Dole Brooks Cannon and Lillian Christine Cannon. He worked most of his adult life as a mechanic at Jackson Tire and Alignment in Memphis, TN. He attended Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Cordova, TN. Darrell loved Jesus and was a strong man of faith. He was also an avid sports fan, especially favoring the Ole Miss Rebels and the St. Louis Cardinals. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Dole and Christine Cannon, his wife Olene Cannon, and three brothers Maxey, Frank, and Carl Cannon.

He is survived by his son Keith Cannon,  two granddaughters Heather (Brandon) Wellman and Leann (Brian) Moore, four great grandsons Cameron Nabors, Ethan Moore, Brady Wellman, and Cooper Wellman, and  6 siblings: Steve (Rita) Cannon, Mark (Lisa) Cannon, Burla Ellis, Wallace (Duronda) Cannon, Dean Cannon, and Stanley (Linda) Cannon.
