Danny Wayne Whitworth

Danny Wayne Whitworth, 61, of Batesville, MS, passed away Saturday September 30, 2023 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Batesville. 

Danny was born on February 5, 1962 in Panola County, MS to the late Leason Carlyle and Vera Louise Cook Whitworth. Danny worked hard during his lifetime as a farmer. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mud riding earlier in life. Family was important to Danny. He adored his grandchildren and spending time with them. 

Danny is survived by his wife, Janet Pittman Whitworth of Batesville; his son, Austin Carlyle Whitworth (Erika) of Batesville; sisters, Linda White of Pope, Carol Cook of Marks, Debra Goodwin of Sardis; one brother, Timmy Whitworth of Batesville; his grandchildren, Darren Austin Whitworth, Maci Carlyle Whitworth, and Kenley Aden Whitworth. 

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Whitworth.
