Daniel L. Young

Daniel L. Young, age 73, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at his home near Sardis, MS.

The family will have a celebration of Daniel's life at a later date.  

Daniel was born on May 30, 1949 to the late Leory Young and Clara Wiltfong Young in Bakersfield, California. He honorably served in the U.S. Army for four years. Daniel worked very hard throughout his lifetime as an operator at chemical and oil refineries, often times traveling to different states. 

The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Nora Gladys Young of Sardis, MS; one son, Vincent Hancock (Khristi Ivens) of Middleton, TN; four sisters, Elda Vanworth of Soper, OK, Ethel Scott of Dallas, TX, Jewel Wheeler of Lincoln City, OR, and Sylvia Grimes of Fresno, CA; one grandson, Oliver Asher Hancock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
