Cosby Brett Ballard, infant son of Cody Brett and Katie Grace Carlini-Ballard, is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Cosby was born August 6, 2022 in Memphis, Tennessee weighing 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long.

A memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with a gathering one hour prior to the service. Following the service, a reception be held at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Batesville, MS.

The family Cosby leaves behind to forever remember his precious soul includes his parents, Cody and Katie Grace Ballard of Courtland, MS; maternal grandparents, Pennie and Rickie Branch of Batesville, MS, and Phillip Carlini of Hiawassee, GA; paternal grandparents, Ted and Cheryl Ballard of Cleveland, MS; paternal great grandmother, Annette McCain of Cleveland, MS; God-parents, Haley Hays of Batesville, MS and Kedar Ballard of Cleveland, MS; and a host of family and friends.

The family that welcomes him in Heaven now includes his maternal great grandparents, Linda and Joe Cosby, and Dominic and Darlene Carlini; and his paternal great grandparents, George McCain, and Frank and Estelle Ballard.
