Corinne Campbell Johnson

Corinne Campbell Johnson, age 100, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her home in Batesville, MS.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service at the church. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include, Gary Morrow, Bubba Johnson, Glenn McCain, Steve Dunn, Joey Havens and Dr. Mike Havens.

Corinne was born November 12, 1919 in Batesville, MS to the late V.K. and Florence Ragon Campbell. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Corinne leaves behind a long legacy that will be cherished by her three daughters, Yvonne Anthony (Jimmy) of Batesville, MS, Patsy Morrow (D.L.) of Batesville, MS, Connie Haley (Steve) of Courtland, MS; sister, Hazel Hudson (Tommy) of Batesville, MS; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Johnson and a brother, Herman Campbell.
