Charlotte Ann Jenkins

Charlotte Ann Reeves Jenkins, age 79, passed away at her home near Batesville in the early morning hours of May 5, 2021.

Funeral services for Charlotte will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Hosanna Family Worship Center in Batesville with visitation beginning at 9:00. A committal service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Greenville, MS.

Charlotte was born January 19, 1942, the daughter of the late Ben Reeves and Fannie Mae James Reeves in Darling, MS. Charlotte was a factory worker during her lifetime in addition to raising her three children with her late husband, John Leroy Jenkins. Charlotte loved flowers and working in her flower garden. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and painting. She was known to also enjoy camping in her younger years. Most of all she adored her precious grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband John, Charlotte was preceded in death by four siblings, Sue Roberson, Ethel Reeves, Willie B. Reeves, and James Richard Reeves.

The family she leaves behind who will miss her most includes; one daughter, Diane Gates (Paul) of Choudrant, LA.; two sons, John Raymond Jenkins (Melinda) and Robert Earl Jenkins both of Batesville, MS; 6 grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
