Charla Davis Tubbs

Charla Davis Tubbs, age 42, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Marks, MS. Charla is the the wife of Chris Tubbs of Courtland.

Funeral services for Charla will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be held at Eureka Cemetery. Rev. Derrick Simmons will officiate. 

Charla was born October 20, 1975 to Johnny Harold Davis and Sherry Pearson Hall in Greenwood, MS. Charla worked as a dental assistant for Bryant Hirsberg Orthodontist. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Stewart. Charla had many hobbies she like to do in her spare time. She enjoyed following her kids to their sporting events. She loved anything outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, traveling or taking pictures. Charla also liked crafts and cooking. Chocolate was her favorite. Her family would refer to her as a chocoholic. 

The family she leaves behind who loved her so include her husband, Chris Tubbs of Courtland; children, Brayden Cole Allred, and Peyton Lynn Allred of Stewart; the father of her children, Steven Allred of Stewart; step-sons, Tyler Morgan Tubbs, and Jorden Bailey Tubbs of Courtland; sister, Tracy Lynn Green of Stewart; her father, Johnny Harold Davis; her mother, Sherry Pearson Hall and her husband Gary of Bryan, TX.; nieces, Emily Green Smith of Vaiden, Mary Ashley Green of Stewart, Robin Rena Babb, Sarah Grace Runnels, Cadence Jayde Morris and Jacelyn Morris, all of Courtland, Alexis G. Campos of Branson, MO.; nephews, Jon D. Babb, Eli Milton Cosby both of Courtland, Daniel A. Campos, Miguel A. Campos both of Branson, Lane Ambrose, Finn Ambrose both of Batesville; great nieces, Tinsley Raiegh Richardson, Neeley Lane Green both of Stewart; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; mother and father-in-law, Randy and Cathy Cosby of Courtland; brother-in-law, Chip Cosby and his wife Leah of Courtland; sisters-in-law, Candace Campos and her husband Alejandro of Branson, MO., Courtney Morris and her husband Jonathan of Courtland, Sydnie Ambrose and her husband Shawn of Batesville.
