Byron Dale Jones

Byron Dale Jones, age 65, passed away March 7, 2019 at his home in Batesville, MS.

The family will be having a memorial service for Byron this Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the First United Pentecostal Church, 110 Hospital Rd., in Sardis, MS at 1:00 P.M.

Byron was born July 3, 1953 to the late Eddie Mae Wood and Rev. James L. Jones in Marks, MS. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved to read and study the Bible. Byron had a strong faith and adored his family. He also served in the National Guard.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his loving memory include his daughters, Chasidy Jones of Batesville, MS, and Rachel Fyke (Jeremy) of Pope, MS; his best friend and “Gaggi”, Rhonda Weaver Jones of Batesville, MS; two sisters, Lyndal  Bray of Hernando, MS, and Janell Buck of Sardis, MS; two brothers, Travis Jones of Texas, and Ronnie Jones of Batesville, MS; and 3 grandchildren, Wesley, Paxton, and Finley Fyke.

Along with his parents, Byron is preceded in death by two brothers, James Dewain Jones and Joel Stanley Jones.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Mattie Kurkyndoll and Southern Care Hospice for taking such compassionate care of our Daddy.
