Bryan Lance Bennett

Bryan Lance Bennett, age 55, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 17, 2019 at the Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, MS.

Funeral services for Bryan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Mullins will officiate.

Bryan was born August 17, 1963 to Betty Snyder Bennett and the late Raymond Randolph Bennett in Memphis, TN. Bryan worked as a pipefitter and welder for Upchurch Industrial. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. Bryan held a special place in his heart for his mother, who he enjoyed taking care of. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Those he leaves behind to cherish his loving memory include his fiancée, Laura Reich of Horn Lake; step children, April Knight (Roger) of Oakland, TN., Tim Sowers of Lumberton, TX., Andrew Reich of Horn Lake; mother, Betty S. Bennett of Nesbit; brother, Jamie L. Bennett (Cathy) of Kountze, TX.; nephews, Christopher J. Bennett, and Aubrey C. Bennett; 1 step granddaughter, Jessica Knight; 5 great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Bryan was preceded in death by one step son, Jarrod Sowers.
