Brenda Gail McMinn Campbell

Brenda Gail McMinn Campbell, born on December 13, 1952, in Batesville, Mississippi, passed away on December 24, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi. The passing of Brenda leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Brenda was a beloved former owner of The Stylist Hair Salon in Batesville, where she not only showcased her talent but also built lasting relationships with her clients. Her passion for hairstyling was evident in every interaction, as she brought creativity and joy to those who sat in her chair.

A proud founding member of Hosanna Worship Center in Pope, Brenda held her church close to her heart. It served as a source of strength and joy in her life, and her dedication to her faith was evident in all she did. She fostered a welcoming environment for many and embodied the spirit of service that defined her life.

Brenda is survived by her two cherished sons, Thad Campbell (Emy) of Pope and Kevin Campbell of Hernando, her sister, Bobbie Jean Correia of Batesville and her loyal friend Pam Higgins. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, with her grandchildren, Eli Campbell, Ally Campbell, Zoey Campbell, Kennedy Campbell Windham (Garrin), and Cooper Campbell—bringing her great happiness. Additionally, she was a proud great grandmother to Wheeler Windham, cherishing the new generation and the love they brought into her life.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Michael (Mike) Campbell, her parents, Cecil Earl McMinn and Dorothy Jean Ellis McMinn, and her two sisters, Sherry Ann Bolton and Wanda Mae Shields.  The love she shared with her family and relatives was exemplary, and she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Hosanna Worship Center in Pope. Rev. Damon Plummer will officiate the service. This occasion will provide family and friends the opportunity to celebrate Brenda's life and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her.

Brenda Gail McMinn Campbell’s legacy of love, generosity, and artistic spirit will continue to inspire her family and community for years to come. She will be dearly missed.
