Bonnie Buford Bice

Bonnie Wiggs Buford Bice, age 69, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

A memorial service for Bonnie will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Wells Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Derrick Simmons will be officiating.

Bonnie was born January 16, 1950 to the late Edith Bernard and Preston Wiggs in Marks, MS. Bonnie worked as an LPN at the Clarksdale Family Medical Center during her lifetime. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved her fury companion, Mollie.

Those Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her children, Tina Allen (David) of Pope, MS, Robert Buford (Meloney) of Batesville, MS, and Jonathan Buford (Maranda) of Coffeeville, MS; two sisters, Peggy Warrington of Batesville, MS, and Patsy Maxcey of Charleston, MS; her grandchildren, Haley Beth Pegueros (Humberto), Tyler Allen, Taylor Buford, Dustin Buford, Nathan Buford, Colby Buford, Jade Muzzi (Seth), and Jordan Roberson; and two great-grandchildren, Lacey Walton and Wyatt Morris.

Along with her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by five siblings, Gladys Warrington, Marvin Wiggs, Johnny Wiggs, Lloyd Turner, and Bobbie Jean Bridges.
