Bobby Lee Rowland

Bobby Lee Rowland, age 60, passed away January 9, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tn. 

Funeral services for Bobby will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Black Jack Cemetery in Batesville. 

Bobby was born January 1, 1959 to the late Dorothy Jean Jones Rowland and Daniel Rowland in Marks, MS. He worked as a carpenter by trade. Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He felt fortunate to be able take care of his father. Bobby was always one to lend a helping hand to those who needed help.

The loving family he leaves behind include his wife, Connie Vanlandingham Rowland of Batesville; his children, Kelley Lynn Cooper of Fort Smith AR., Bobby Lee "Bo" Rowland, Jr. of AR., Tanya Willard of Batesville; parents, Daniel and Bessie Rowland of Batesville; brothers, Robbie Rowland and Raymond Rowland both of Batesville, Robert Willard of Batesville, Jimmy Willard of Water Valley, and Sidney "Dago" Willard of New Albany; sister Towanda "Sissy" Anderson Crawford of Batesville; and 8 grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Dorothy Jones Rowland, Bobby is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Fairy Mae Dillard and Nell Stinson.
