Bobbie Hatchett

Bobbie Hatchet, age 85, passed away Friday evening, March 27, 2020 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Batesville, MS.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 30, 2020, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Waterford, MS.

Due to the current health concerns, services will attended by Mrs. Hatchett's family only. Wells Funeral Home will be live streaming the service Monday morning.

Bobbie was born June 9, 1934 in Sledge, MS to the late William Perry and Rosie Lee Foshee Thetford. She was a retired factory worker from Springs Industries in Sardis, MS and was a member of Central Academy Church of Christ in Batesville, MS, where she had been a faithful member. Bobbie was a very independent lady and always had a strong work ethic. She enjoyed visiting with her family, neighbors, friends, and loved her church and cooking. Her most important blessing was the birth of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Those cherishing her memory include her daughter, Elizabeth Tucker of Waterford, MS; son, Hugh Hatchett, Jr of Waterford, MS; three grandchildren, Ben Hatchett, Jonathan Harkness, Kristi Tushek; five great grandchildren, Makala Hatchett, Hayleigh Harkness, Phillip Harkness, Macy Harkness and Tucker Tushek.
